For months now I wanted to get my own laptop, of course for personal reasons,
1st I could bring it anywhere 2nd I don’t have to share my files to anyone especially my brother and sister *evil*
And after much thinking and money saving here it is!!
It took me a long time to figure out what to write about the Movie! I was blinded by the fact that Jake Gyllenhaal who played Prince Dastan adopted son of the King of Persia. But seriously I didn't expect as much, I wasn't fortunate enough to play the game before hand. Though I did speak to my friends who played the game and guess what they were disappointed with the movie. They were expecting the movie to be more on adventure which was the main theme of the Prince of Persia Game series. Another thought about it the movie, the script writers or whoever sacrificed the action and the mind bugling puzzles for a love story with the Princes Tamina, In my opinion it was half and half, I was liked that fact that we could relate with the story but I also wanted to see more of the action, puzzle solving twists which could really be something worth watching, Though I did enjoy the stunts and the effects was spotless plus I really like Jake Gyllenhaal i think his British accent was hot!
All those points I'd say if it weren't for Jake Gyllenhaal I wouldn't watch the movie. The story was mediocre, I mean we've seen it all before "Guy saves girl" "Girl strong willed, but vulnerable" etc. But hey don't take my word for it watch it yourself.
After months of waiting Finally I’ll watch it this Sunday! Alright!! Jake Gyllenhaal here I come!
and before I forget, I will make a review *just in case*
My mom woke me up with urgency; it’s amazing how your world can turn comical if you look closely and in a third person’s point of view hahahahaha. She saw my dad sleeping in his own puke in the bathroom! Imagine that scene, I know right you just can’t! But lucky me I had to witness it all. He *my father* said he can’t stand up for some reason so my mom asked me to pull him up and so I did, funny thing was the bastard just stood up and washed a bit then walked back to the bedroom talk about theatrical drama!
How I wished I woke up in Vegas or something, it would have been easier. And yes this is weird even for us; thinking about it makes me shudder
4 years and 5 months working for my company and I can say it was roller coaster ride. It shocked me that I lost my job, but I must say I did see it coming. I saw the sign quoting the song by Ace of Base “I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes” I got call from my senior manager and Badabing Badaboom you’re fired the sad part about this episode was that I was on vacation and mind you I was in the beach! After the phone call I’m not sure what I did but I remember that I had no direction, just me staring blankly at the sea –very poetic don’t you think?--- like I said I saw this coming but I never knew this would happen to me! As you may have guessed my entire being is flooded with emotions, from confusion, anger, self pity etc.
5 days later
I started to realize it is not the end! HAHA and yes I can be melodramatic but hey! Give me break I lost my job! I can now say I’m going to be ok, I need to be ok. What surprises me with this ordeal is that I can joke about it, I guess it’s just me being positive like the saying goes there is a light in the end of the tunnel, its pretty cheesy but it works for me.
